Walnut
Welcome to our garden

For a Healthy Life

Our walnut adventure started in 2016. When we decided on this healthy product, we searched for a place in Thrace and chose our first garden among the 500 decare parcels in Dağ Yenice Village of Tekirdağ's Süleymanpaşa district. In February 2018, 2500 Chandler walnut saplings were planted on an area of 125 decares in this garden and stone pine trees were planted on an area of 200 decares. In August 2018, we started watering our garden with a fully automated, modern pressurized drip irrigation system.

Why Kurumondo?

Our walnut adventure started in 2016. When we decided on this healthy product, we searched for a place in Thrace and chose our first garden among the 500 decare parcels in Dağ Yenice Village of Tekirdağ's Süleymanpaşa district. In February 2018, 2500 Chandler walnut saplings were planted on an area of 125 decares in this garden and stone pine trees were planted on an area of 200 decares. In August 2018, we started watering our garden with a fully automated, modern pressurized drip irrigation system.

The altitude of this garden is 450 meters at its lowest and 550 meters at its highest. The humid air of the Marmara Sea leaves cool and humid air on the northern slope of the mountain after passing Uçmakdere and reaching the peaks of the Ganos Mountains. Our garden is covered with dense linden and oak trees up to the peaks of the mountain. In open areas, dense aromatic plants can be observed. Our agricultural engineers and technical team produce in our garden with modern good agricultural methods under the supervision of our consultants from abroad.

Walnut Adventure

We loved walnut production and our search for additional lands continued. In 2019, we signed a deal with a 950-decare land in Kızılca Terzi Village, Şarköy district of Tekirdağ. The altitude of this garden is approximately 100 meters. Doluca Wineries, Chateu Kalpak vineyards and olive groves are neighbors to our garden. Our garden brings together the pine breezes of the Ganos Mountains, the breeze of the Marmara Sea and the breeze of Saros Gulf. In 2022, we planted Chandler walnut saplings on an area of 400 decares, and in 2024 we will plant approximately 15,000 Lauranne almond saplings on the remaining 450 decares. In this garden, our agricultural engineers and technical team produce with modern good agricultural methods under the supervision of the same consultancy firm.

The goal of these two orchards is to become one of the leading walnut and almond orchards in the Marmara Region with world-class modern production and control techniques. Our aim is to offer Marmara's healthy local flavors to consumers in the Marmara region in a sustainable way."
